You can make a difference by donating to the Hayward Animal Shelter.

The Shelter's Wish List


The Hayward Animal Shelter is always in need of the following items:

​

  • Science Diet Dog & Cat Food (for the shelter animals)

  • Any brand dog & cat food (for community animals in need)

  • FRESH greens Carrots with leafy tops, basil, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, & alfalfa sprouts

  • Scoopable litter

  • Anti-cling sheets for the dryer

  • Dish Soap (any brand)

  • KMR & Esbilac brand kitten & puppy formula (unopened)​​

 

We also have an Amazon Wishlist!

Thanks to a very generous Christmas donation drive, we do not currently need blankets, towels, or plush toys. 

 

You can drop your donations at the Hayward Animal Shelter during our regular open hours. If you have any questions, please call us at 510- 293-7200.
